We invite you to join the Ohio Hospital Association and your fellow health care colleagues for our 111th Annual Meeting and Educational Summit. This three-day event brings together multidisciplinary professionals from OHA member hospitals and health systems to inspire creative thinking, share innovative approaches, provide professional continuing education and collaborate on priority issues affecting Ohio hospitals. The OHA Annual Meeting offers a dynamic setting for members to learn, exchange ideas, network with peers, spark new thinking and gain insights that strengthen their organizations and the communities they serve.


Who Should Attend

OHA hospital and hospital system member CEOs, CFOs, CNOs, CMOs, CIOs; nursing leaders/managers in all service lines, physicians, diversity officers, human resources professionals involved at all levels in health care, finance management, facility management, hospital attorneys, health law attorneys, compliance officers, risk management, patient safety officers, quality managers public relations professionals, medical service staff, data management and OHA Corporate Partners may register for the educational sessions and vendor components.


Separate Registration for Recognition Dinner

Attendees of the annual OHA Recognition Dinner, held Wednesday, May 20 in the Regency Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Columbus, must register for the event separately from the main conference.

Jon Carmichael

Astrophotographer and pilot

“The Eclipse Mindset: How to Break Barriers, Adapt, Innovate, and Create History”

Jon Carmichael is a New York-based astrophotographer and pilot, recognized for his 2017 total solar eclipse photograph, "108". This image, a panoramic stitch of over 1,000 photographs, was captured from a Southwest Airlines flight at 39,000 feet over the Snake River and unveiled at Twitter's headquarters.

Carmichael, who developed an interest in astronomy in seventh grade, uses photography to reveal unseen celestial features, employing unique techniques for detail and color accuracy. He has photographed for celebrities and is a significant collector of Elton John's work.

Based in Las Vegas, Carmichael was noted by George Takei for his Inspiration4 application, aspiring to be the first openly gay man in space.

Closing keynote session

Join OHA leadership and member CEOs for an engaging fireside chat focused on fostering unity across hospitals and health systems. This interactive session will explore both the shared challenges and unique differences shaping organizations today.

Panelists will discuss key operational challenges, provide insights into what CEOs are most optimistic about, and examine the evolving role of AI in health care. The conversation will also include updates on advocacy efforts, highlight hospital success stories from a CEO perspective, and address some of the most pressing issues facing the industry.

Audience participation is encouraged to drive meaningful dialogue and shared learning.
