Advocacy Center
OHA’s Advocacy team collaborates with member hospitals and health care partners to strategically advocate for public policies that empower Ohio hospitals and health systems to serve their communities.
Federal and state laws govern health care organizations in a variety of ways from operations to reimbursements. OHA’s Advocacy team works with our member hospitals and health systems to represent the Ohio hospital community with policymakers as we shape health care policy for the state. OHA continuously monitors state legislative activity and actions by the Governor’s Administration and the Ohio General Assembly. OHA also works with our members and the American Hospital Association on federal health care policy strategies and represent Ohio hospitals with the Ohio’s congressional members.
State Advocacy
