ODM Expands Next Generation MyCare Rollout, Urges Provider Readiness by April 1
The Ohio Department of Medicaid, or ODM, is expanding its Next Generation MyCare program to 10 additional counties beginning April 1. The next phase includes Sandusky, Erie, Henry, Williams, Defiance, Paulding, Fayette, Fairfield, Licking and Ashtabula counties.
OHA encourages hospitals and providers to review and share available resources to ensure they are prepared for the transition, including enrollment, contracting and claims submission processes. ODM has developed a communications toolkit with ready-to-use newsletter content, social media posts and provider resources to support outreach and education efforts.
Providers are also encouraged to attend upcoming webinars and contact the ODM Integrated Helpdesk with questions as the rollout continues. For more information, visit the Next Generation MyCare Resources for Providers webpage.
