Cleveland Clinic donated $2 million to community food banks to help ease stress from the delays in SNAP benefits and remove barriers to health. With food insecurity affecting families in every community it serves, the health system has several initiatives relating to food security, such as establishing food pantries in serval locations, providing food vouchers, helping providing weekend meals and more. A new state-of-the-art applied gene and cell therapy center recently opened in Sharonville. The $60 million investment will help increase clinical trials of innovative drugs and biological therapeutics for patients with a variety of genetic conditions, such as blood disorders, cancer and more.
