Reminder: Register for Oct. 15 OSHFM Fall Conference, Topgolf Social Event

Registration remains open for the 2026 OSHFM Fall Conference on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 8 a.m. to 2:40 p.m. at Quest Conference Center in Westerville. The conference will feature updates from The Joint Commission and ASHE on accreditation, the physical environment and Facility Guidelines Institute requirements, along with sessions on funding, compliance, aging infrastructure and artificial intelligence. The program has been submitted for ASHE continuing education credits.

Following the conference, Trane will host a free Topgolf social event for OHA members from 3-5 p.m., with complimentary drinks and appetizers, gift card drawings and a conference voucher giveaway; a separate RSVP is required.

OHA Seeks Presentations for 2027 Annual Membership Meeting

OHA is accepting proposals for educational presentations at the 112th OHA Annual Membership Meeting, with submissions due Dec. 31, 2026. Presentations should be 60 minutes, including time for questions, and address one of six educational tracks: Clinical Excellence Finance Strategy & Sustainability Innovative Nursing Practice & Leadership Legal, Compliance & Risk Strategic Health Care Leadership Workforce Strategy & Employee Experience Proposals will be reviewed by OHA member representatives, professional membership group leaders and OHA staff, with preference given to topics broadly applicable to the hospital community. Nominations Open for 2027 OHA Health Care Worker of the Year Award

OHA is accepting nominations for the 2027 Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award, which recognizes an exceptional front-line health care worker from an OHA member hospital or health system. Nominations are due Monday, Nov. 30, 2026. Each member hospital may nominate one eligible employee who routinely goes beyond the call of duty, reflects their organization’s mission and values and gives back to the community. Direct caregivers, support personnel and physicians are eligible. Two high-resolution photos, including at least one headshot, must accompany each nomination. OONL Fall Conference Offers Education, Connection for Nurse Leaders

Registration is open for the 2026 Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership Fall Conference, set for Nov. 4-6 at the Renaissance Hotel Westerville. This year’s “Nursing: Back to Our Future” conference will feature 1½ days of educational programming, two keynote sessions, evidence-based poster presentations, an awards ceremony, a CNO roundtable breakfast and OONL updates. The conference is designed for nurse leaders across a range of roles, including chief nursing officers, nurse managers and directors, educators, patient safety and risk professionals, compliance officers and nurse practitioners.
