DeWine Taps Directors of Behavioral Health, Developmental Disabilities

Gov. Mike DeWine this week announced that he is nominating Tia Marcel Moretti as director of the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health, or DBH, and Lyndsay Nash as director of the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities, or DODD. Moretti has an extensive background working with community-based mental health and addiction services. She had been serving as interim director of DBH and previously spent time as DeWine’s deputy director of RecoveryOhio. Nash had been serving as interim director of DODD, and previously served as in-house counsel, director of compliance and assistant director of the department. Last Chance for Presentation Proposals! Submit for Annual Meeting by Dec. 31

OHA is seeking evidence-based presentations, case studies and practical tools that address current issues facing Ohio hospitals. Presented at the 111th OHA Annual Meeting in May 2026, proposals must be submitted by Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2025. Submissions will be reviewed by committees of hospital leaders and subject matter experts, with a focus on relevance, clarity and real-world applicability. Prospective presenters are encouraged to submit proposals aligned with one of the event’s designated educational tracks. OHA Welcomes New Board Officers, Trustees for 2026

OHA today announced new officers and welcomed new members to our Board of Trustees for 2026.
