The Ohio Emergency Medical Services for Children, or EMSC, program is offering several opportunities for Ohio emergency departments and emergency medical services professionals to strengthen pediatric emergency care.

Ohio EMSC is also accepting nominations for its Pediatric Clinical Save Awards, which recognize Ohio EMS and emergency department teams that demonstrate exceptional teamwork and achieve positive outcomes while managing high-acuity pediatric emergencies. Nominations are due Jan. 8, 2027, and can be submitted online here or by emailing OhioEMSC@nationwidechildrens.org.

Additionally, the Ohio EMSC Conference will take place March 5, 2027, at the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Conference Center in Columbus. Early-bird registration rates are available through Dec. 1, 2026. More information about the conference and registration is available online here.
