Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award honors the excellence of front-line health care workers and is presented each year to one Ohio caregiver from one of our member hospitals who routinely goes beyond the call of duty, daily reflects the mission and values of their organization, and notably gives back to the community. OHA is accepting presentation proposals for its 111th Annual Meeting & Education Summit, scheduled for May 19-21, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. The three-day forum brings together hospital and health system leaders from across Ohio to share knowledge, explore innovations and collaborate on pressing issues. 60-minute sessions will align with various tracks, including Workforce Strategy/Human Resources, Nursing Practice & Leadership, Risk Management, Rural Hospital Health Care and more. The Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership invites members and Ohio nurse leaders to attend the in-person fall conference. Joel Delavern, Plant Operations director at Avita Health System, was honored with the Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Managers' Eagle Award Thursday at the annual OSHFM Fall Conference in Westerville.
