OHA has announced dates and locations for several fall conferences for our professional societies, bringing together health care leaders from across Ohio. The Ohio Society of Health Care Risk Managers and Society for Ohio Health Care Attorneys Fall Conference will take place Sept. 25 at the Quest Conference Center. The Ohio Society for Health Care Facilities Management Fall Conference will take place Oct. 15 at the Quest Conference Center. The Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership Fall Conference will be held Nov. 4-6 at the Renaissance Hotel Westerville. CGS Medicare is offering a series of free educational webinars throughout March to help hospitals and providers strengthen Medicare billing, compliance and appeals processes. Sessions will cover topics including improving the Medicare appeals process, Medicare Secondary Payer billing and common claim errors, Recovery Audit Contractor navigation, and the basics of Direct Data Entry.
