2 OHA Webinars Next Week Offer CE Credits for Members at No Extra Cost

OHA members can earn continuing education credits at no additional cost through two webinars offered next week as part of their membership.

On Feb. 10 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the fifth installment of our Workforce Lunch & Learn Series will feature OhioHealth’s approach to international recruitment, highlighting strategies that helped fill critical nursing and allied health positions. The session offers 1.0 CHHR, HRCI and SHRM CE credits.

A second webinar, “Immigration Enforcement Policies and ICE Raids: Key Guidance for Hospitals and Health Care Providers,” will be held 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Feb. 11 as part of our OSHHRA Winter Webinar Series. That program will cover provider rights, patient privacy and best practices during ICE activity. OHA has applied for CLE, CHHR, HRCI and SHRM credits for the virtual event.

OHA, careLearning to Host Demo Highlighting Workforce Education Tools

OHA will host a live demo of the careLearning Premier Learning Management System from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 10, highlighting tools designed to support hospital management and workforce education. careLearning, a longtime OHA Preferred Services Partner, will showcase how its platform helps health care organizations manage compliance training, track requirements and deliver cost-effective eLearning. The system is used nationwide and offers flexible features, including custom course creation and robust reporting. Countdown to 2026 OHA Annual Meeting Begins; Registration Opening Soon

Feb. 8 will officially mark 100 days out from the 111th OHA Annual Meeting & Education Summit, which will take place May 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. This year’s event follows a new Tuesday through Thursday schedule and will once again bring together hospital and health system leaders from across the state for high‑value learning, collaboration and industry insights. Team Tressel Fitness Challenge Expands to 1,300 Ohio Schools

The second round of the Team Tressel Fitness Challenge has launched in 1,376 Ohio schools, engaging more than 390,000 students in a 30-day program focused on fitness, nutrition and sleep. Led by Lt. Gov. Jim Tressel, the initiative encourages students in grades three through eight to set SMART goals while building lifelong healthy habits. The challenge is part of Gov.
