Cleveland Clinic Makes a Pledge to Strengthen Food Systems in 3 States

A major ground breaking ceremony took place this week at OhioHealth Dublin Methodist Hospital to celebrate the construction of its expansion project. These plans include the addition of a new patient tower, renovations to first and second floors and more support for the critical care, heart and vascular, surgery and Level III Trauma programs. A 70-year-old patient at Christ Hospital underwent a seemingly impossible surgery to combat the endocarditis that was afflicting him. The last of three heart surgeries left the patient without an artery on one side of his heart, leading to a technique called electrocautery being done to restore blood flow without open heart surgery.
