Program Offers OHA Members No-Cost Quality Support

Though Superior Health, hospitals and health systems have access to no-cost quality improvement support and can receive insight, support and partnership to help improve quality of care.

Superior Health offers help through  tools, collaborative opportunities, individual coaching podcasts and webinars. With focus on connection and community, its advisement aims to advance management, emergency preparedness and health technology, all while improving vaccine rates, reducing health care-acquired infection and more.

Hospitals and health care systems can learn more about Superior Health Quality Management and participation here. Superior Health Quality Alliance is a joint venture that serves as a prime contractor in the Network of Quality Improvement and Innovation Contractors.

Get Prepared Now for 2026 Program Implementation with Provider Resources

The Ohio Department of Medicaid is implementing its Next Generation MyCare program Jan. 1, 2026, in the 29 counties where MyCare Ohio is available today. Those counties are located in Ohio's large urban areas. Later in 2026, the program will be available in the rest of Ohio. OHA Offers 1-Stop Site for Hospital Job Postings, Help for Health Career Exploring

More than 375,000 Ohioans start their workday in an Ohio hospital, but many more are needed. Our state’s hospitals are investing each day in growing their workforce at every level — from entry-level support roles with training provided, to advanced practice providers. OHA is expanding our efforts to support members in building their workforce pipelines. Earn CE Credits, Network with Peers at Facilities, Nursing Leadership Conferences

Registration is now open for the 2025 Ohio Organization for Nursing Leadership Fall Conference, scheduled for Nov. 5-7 at the Renaissance Hotel in Westerville. The event will feature a pre-conference session, educational programming, poster presentations, keynote speakers, awards and a CNO roundtable breakfast. Last Call for AHA Nova Award Applications

The American Hospital Association is accepting applications through Oct. 16 for its Nova Award, which recognizes hospitals that demonstrate outstanding innovative collaboration with community partners to improve health outcomes and community well-being. To apply, the health system program must fit these guidelines: The program described in the application must be operational for at least 2 years. The program must have demonstrated positive impact in the community, and documentation of data on the program’s effectiveness is available.
