OHA Presents Leadership Awards at Annual Recognition Dinner

After announcing our annual leadership award honorees at the start of the month, OHA handed out the hardware at our Recognition Dinner Wednesday.

Deborah Feldman, MPA, CEO, Dayton Children’s Hospital received OHA’s Donald R. Newkirk Award. The award recognizes an individual who has made a significant lifetime contribution to the health care profession in Ohio.

Ohio’s Zone Leads during the COVID-19 Pandemic: Richard Lofgren, MD, MPH, FACP, former President & CEO, UC Health; Andy Thomas, MD, MBA, Chief Clinical Officer, Senior Associate Vice President, Health Sciences, The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, and Robert Wyllie, MD, Emeritus Staff and former Chief of Medical Operations, Cleveland Clinic received OHA’s James R. Castle Distinguished Service Award, which honors an individual whose professional attainments embody qualities of an outstanding leader or mentor for service to the health care community.

Aultman Health Orrville's Kimberly Masters Named OHA Health Care Worker of the Year

OHA on Wednesday awarded the 2026 Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award to Kimberly Masters, a radiology tech specialist at Aultman Health Orrville Hospital. The ceremony took place during OHA's annual Recognition Dinner at our 111th Annual Meeting & Education Summit at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. OHA received 70 nominations for the health care worker of the year award.
