Join OHA in Celebrating Health Care Worker of the Year Nominees on Social Media

OHA is celebrating all 70 nominees for the 2026 Albert E. Dyckes Health Care Worker of the Year Award by spotlighting their stories on OHA social media channels in the weeks leading up to the 111th OHA Annual Meeting & Education Summit, May 19-21, at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. The award honors front-line caregivers from OHA member hospitals who consistently go above and beyond for their patients, organizations and communities.

All nominees will be formally recognized during the annual OHA Recognition Dinner on Wednesday, May 20, at the Annual Meeting, where the 2026 award recipient also will be announced. OHA is proud to honor these caregivers and thank them for the vital roles they play in delivering care to Ohioans every day.

Adtalem Rebrands as Covista With Focus on Health Care Workforce Needs

The nation’s largest health care educator is changing its name and sharpening its focus on health care workforce infrastructure. Adtalem Global Education on Feb. 5 announced its new name: Covista. The organization now operates five accredited institutions that serve more than 97,000 students and boast a network of 385,000 alumni spanning physicians, nurses, veterinarians and behavioral health professionals. AHA Webinar Highlights Age-Friendly Approach to Patient Safety

OHA Annual Meeting Registration Set to Launch This Month

Momentum is building for the 111th OHA Annual Meeting & Education Summit, scheduled for May 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus. The event will convene hospital and health system leaders from across Ohio for three days of education, collaboration and strategic dialogue on the future of health care.
