HHS Decertifies Organ Procurement Organization Serving Parts of Ohio
August 14, 2026

The action follows multiple federal reviews that found ongoing patient safety and quality concerns despite corrective actions and additional oversight. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services also found continuing concerns during a May 2026 review and determined the organization had not demonstrated sufficient improvement to meet federal requirements.
