OhioHealth will spotlight its global recruitment strategy during Part 5 of OHA’s Workforce Lunch & Learn series, set for 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10. The American Hospital Association has released two new guides to help hospitals and health systems strengthen preparedness for public health emergencies and cybersecurity incidents. "Strategies for Medical Surge Management During Public Emergencies" organizes response planning around staffing, supply, space and systems to help protect patients, support care teams and sustain critical operations during times of crisis. A second resource, "Strategies for Cyber Preparedness in Health Care," focuses on managing disruption, safeguarding patients and maintaining continuity of care during cyber incidents.
