Cleveland Clinic Starts New Project on Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis

Cleveland Clinic, one of seven sites of the Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative, is beginning a new project involving blood-based bio markers in the process of Alzheimer’s diagnosis. This study will include 1,200 patients, age 55 and older, who show signs of cognitive impartment with no Alzheimer’s diagnosis, who will be tested with this new system over the course of 18 months. This study will be taking place at all Cleveland Clinic Center for Geriatric Medicine locations as well as Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health outpatient centers across Northeast Ohio.
