Deadline Approaching: Submit for CE Credits from Annual Meeting by June 11

Thank you to the more than 1,000 attendees at OHA’s Annual Meeting & Education Summit this past week. As a reminder, to receive any continuing education credits for – AHIMA, ASHE, CHHR, CLE, CPE, CPHQ, CPHRM, HRCI, Nursing and/or SHRM – you must complete the corresponding online evaluation for the sessions you attended during the annual meeting. The only way to complete an evaluation is by the OHA mobile app or the online version of the mobile app.

The evaluation system will close on Wednesday, June 11. Once the CE evaluation system closes on June 11, CE Certificates will be processed. You will be emailed your certificates in mid-July. To access the presentation slide decks, go to the specific session in the OHA Events app. They will be available until June 20.

ODH to Host June 13 Webinar on Measles Risk, Prevention

The Ohio Department of Health’s Bureau of Infectious Diseases will host a webinar for health care providers from noon to 1 p.m. June 13 focused on measles activity, prevention strategies and updated clinical guidance. The session will cover case definitions, reporting requirements, testing protocols and MMR vaccine recommendations across patient populations and health care staff. A Q&A session will follow the presentation, and a recording will be available for those unable to attend live. Questions can be pre-submitted to ORBIT@odh.ohio.gov. Use this link to join the webinar.

National Grange Ad Urges Congress to Protect Rural Health Care Access

MetroHealth Among 2025 Vista Award Winners for Construction Excellence

The American Society for Health Care Engineering has named the winners of its 2025 Vista Awards, honoring excellence in health care construction and renovation. OHA member MetroHealth received the New Construction award for The Glick Center, a sustainable acute care hospital designed to improve operational efficiency and patient care. AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas earned the Renovation award for its modernization of a decades-old facility.
