Mobile Clinic Opens to Serve Dayton’s Under-Resourced Populations

Write State University recently opened a mobile clinic to serve Dayton’s underserved population of people in need of medical aid. With the help of the Boonshoft School of Medicine and Premier Health, 160 patients have been seen and received care in four months from a team of physicians, medical students and fellows in Wright State’s Addiction Medicine Fellowship. The clinic is open noon to 4 p.m. every Thursday at the Dayton Dream Center.

Chillicothe VA Medical Center Announces Third Annual 9/11 Memorial 5k

To honor and remember the responders, military personnel and civilians who lost their lives during Sept. 11, 2001, the Chillicothe VA Medical Center hosts its third annual 9/11 Memorial 5K. The race will begin at 9:03 a.m., Thursday, Sept. 11, and welcomes all experienced and new runners to come and support. TriHealth Renames Clinton Memorial Hospital After Acquisition

The Wilmington Clinton Memorial Hospital was recently acquired by TriHealth. Along with the announcement of the acquisition, the hospital revealed the new name of the facility, TriHealth Clinton Regional Hospital. This change brings new leadership structure, introducing Tom Daskalakis as president and COO. CFO Bradley Boggus and chief nursing officer Debra Dozier will continue their current positions. Mercy Health Springfield Adds Doulas to Health Care Team

The Mercy Health Springfield Regional Medical Center has begun to hire doulas for their women’s health care team. With two doulas already hired, they will be proving physical and emotional support while educating expecting families throughout the childbirth process.
