Happy Halloween! Celebrate Safely with Tips from Ohio Fire Marshal

With Halloween upon us, the Ohio Department of Commerce Division of State Fire Marshal is reminding families to make fire safety part of their holiday fun. State Fire Marshal Kevin Reardon encouraged Ohioans to use flame-resistant costumes and battery-operated candles to prevent accidents. The division also recommends checking smoke alarms, avoiding overloaded cords, and keeping walkways clear to ensure a safe and enjoyable celebration.
